A new, innovative approach to the economy is needed to separate resource consumption from wealth. The traditional linear economic approach will not be successful in the long term. Instead, sustainable circular production patterns offer a solution. The Collaborative Research Center "Circular Factory for the Perpetual Product" strives to enable integrated linear and circular production on a large scale. This would make it possible to convert used products into new products and move closer to the vision of the eternal product. The research focus of the ifab is on recording and analyzing the problem-solving abilities of humans during disassembly/reassembly processes using eye and gaze movements. In our sub-project, we are investigating the extent to which implicit human action knowledge can be externalized in disassembly/reassembly processes in such a way that it can be used in a machine-executable manner and subsequently transferred to the autonomous production systems of the circular factory.
