Description of the institute

The Institute of Ergonomics and Industrial Organization (ifab) primarily employs psychologists and engineers. The aim of the interdisciplinary research and teaching activities is to design work systems that are technically functional, economically efficient and humane. The focus is on questions of human-machine interaction, work design and work organization.
