The "Profilregion Mobilitätssysteme Karlsruhe" service center pools and networks expertise and people across disciplines and organizations for the joint research and development of future-oriented mobility solutions. It acts as a central point of contact for network partners and customers, provides impetus and advice for the transformation of the mobility system and promotes the transfer of new scientific findings into economic and social implementation. The common goals are to enable a bidirectional exchange of knowledge between research institutions and industry, to create research agendas, to initiate joint projects and to leverage synergy potential in order to generate the greatest possible benefit for all parties involved. The ifab is active in the areas of user acceptance and the development of human-machine interfaces and conducts user studies.
