The ever-increasing user requirements in the handling of machines in an industrial environment, coupled with the growing shortage of skilled workers, are motivating the development of an adaptive user interface. Together with several project partners from research and industry, the programming of robot systems is to be simplified according to socio-cultural and demographic aspects. Among other things, the individual performance requirements of the users and their qualifications are to be taken into account in order to realize a task-related adaptation of the operating modalities. The aim is to expand the circle of users and increase the quality of work from the user's point of view by reducing the consequences of strain in human-machine interaction.
