The project is developing an assistance system that provides support when working with heavy power tools. It is based on a mechatronic construction that is attached to the user's body like a "third arm" via a support structure. In addition to providing physical support, the system also performs cognitive assistance functions. In this way, the system makes work physiologically easier (reducing the forces acting on the arms and shoulders) on the one hand and increases work efficiency and quality on the other.
