For many companies, designing usable and user-friendly products and services is associated with a high expenditure of time and money. Utilizing existing (e.g. through the handling of products) or accumulating (e.g. in social networks) user information in the sense of big data represents great potential for usability research. As part of a literature study, questions in the areas of applicability, statistical analysis methods and coupling with common usability techniques will be developed.
