Learning objectives:

Students gain an initial insight into empirical research methods (e.g. experimental design, statistical data analysis). In addition, they acquire basic knowledge in the field of work organization:

  • organizational level. As part of the module, students also acquire basic knowledge in the areas of structural, process and production organization.
  • Group level. They also learn about key aspects of operational teamwork and are familiar with relevant theories in the areas of interaction and communication, employee management and job satisfaction and motivation.
  • Individual level. Finally, students also learn methods from the field of personnel selection, development and assessment.

Organizational details

The course "Arbeitswissenschaft I: Ergonomie" takes place on Wednesday and Thursday in the first half of the semester.

In the second half, from Thursday, 18.12.2024, the course "Arbeitswissenschaft II: Arbeitsorganisation" will take place on Wednesday and Thursday.

- The lecture has a workload of 120 h (=4 CP).
